1. Introduction
In short: sapplify Studio Tools is internal software that sapplify uses to publish its own videos to its own social media accounts and to read the statistics of those posts. It is not offered to the public, and only sapplify's own accounts are connected to it. It does not collect data about other people.
This policy covers the software sapplify runs on its own computer to publish to and read from its accounts on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Threads. The apps and the website have their own policies, listed under Privacy Policies.
2. Who is responsible
The controller is Anthony Eli Rasch - sapplify, PO Box 004, 91501 Nove Mesto nad Vahom, Slovakia. Questions about this policy: privacy@sapplify.com.
3. Which accounts are connected
Only accounts that belong to sapplify: the sapplify channel on YouTube, the sapplify account on TikTok and on Threads, and the sapplify and euinvoice accounts and pages on Instagram and Facebook. Nobody else can connect an account, and there is no sign-up.
4. What the tool reads and writes
For our own accounts, and only for posts we published ourselves, the tool reads:
- post identifiers, links, captions or titles, and publication times;
- post statistics: views, reach, likes, comments, shares, saves, average watch time, percentage watched and, where a platform provides it, an audience retention curve;
- account totals such as follower, like and video counts.
It writes only our own content: it uploads our videos with their captions and titles, and on TikTok it places a video in our own drafts for us to finish in the app.
It does not read the content of comments, private messages, the identities of people who view or interact with our posts, or any data of other accounts.
5. YouTube API Services
The tool uses YouTube API Services to upload our videos to our channel and to read our channel's video statistics through the YouTube Data API and the YouTube Analytics API. By using these features we are bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google processes data under the Google Privacy Policy.
The access we granted to the tool can be revoked at any time on the Google security settings page.
6. TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Threads
The tool uses the TikTok Login Kit, Display API and Content Posting API, and Meta's Instagram, Facebook Pages and Threads APIs, for the same purposes: publishing our own posts and reading their statistics. Their use is governed by those platforms' terms and privacy policies. Access can be revoked in TikTok under Settings, Security, Manage app permissions, and for Meta in the Facebook settings under Business integrations and in the Threads settings under Website permissions.
7. Where the data is kept
Access tokens are stored in the encrypted keychain of sapplify's own computer and are never sent anywhere except to the platform they belong to. Post identifiers, links and statistics are stored in our own database, hosted by Supabase in the European Union, where only sapplify can read them, and are shown on an internal dashboard on the same computer.
Information travels over TLS and is encrypted at rest. The database is not end-to-end encrypted: we operate it.
8. Sharing
We do not sell or share this data, and we do not use it for advertising. It is sapplify's own business information about its own posts.
9. Retention
The statistics are sapplify's own business records and are kept for as long as we find them useful. The tool refreshes the statistics of recent posts every night, which also re-checks our authorization with each platform.
Data received through YouTube API Services is kept only while our authorization is valid: if that authorization is revoked, we delete the YouTube data we received through it.
10. Changes
We update this policy when the tool or the platforms it uses change, and change the date at the top.
