What is sBudget?
A budget app you fill in by hand. You log each expense or income with an amount and a category, and set a budget for the month, the week or the year, either overall or per category.
Is sBudget free?
Yes, to start. The free version has no ads and no subscription, and covers two accounts, one recurring transaction and three categories of your own. Pro is a one-time purchase that removes those limits.
Does sBudget connect to my bank?
No. sBudget never sees your bank, your cards or your statements. You type in what you spent.
Is my financial data private?
Your budget stays on your phone. Nothing is uploaded unless you turn on sapplify Sync yourself. Sync is free and off until you switch it on. It is encrypted in transit and at rest on EU servers, but not end to end. The app sends anonymous usage analytics, never your amounts, categories or notes, and you can switch them off in Settings.
Do I need an account?
No. sBudget works without one. You only sign in if you want your budget on a second device with Sync.
Does sBudget work offline?
Yes. Logging, budgets, accounts and your history all work without a connection. Only signing in, Sync and buying Pro need the internet.
Can I export my data?
Yes, with no account and no paywall. A full backup goes out as JSON and can be restored later, and your transactions go out as CSV for a spreadsheet. You can also delete everything from inside the app.
What is sapplify Sync?
Optional sync to a second device, free with a free sapplify account. It is off until you turn it on. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest on EU servers. It is not end to end encrypted.
What does sBudget Pro add?
Unlimited accounts, recurring transactions and custom categories. Pro is a one-time purchase with no recurring charge, and everything else stays free without it.
Which devices is sBudget on?
