What is sCycle?
sCycle is a period tracker with a companion. You pick Mo the otter or Juno the fox and give them a name. Each day shows your cycle day, your phase and when your next period is due, with a line from your companion. The calendar shows your periods, the next one predicted and your fertile window.
Is sCycle free?
Yes. Tracking is free, with no ads and no subscription. Pro is an optional one-time purchase that unlocks every companion.
How are predictions calculated?
From your own history, on your phone. sCycle uses the periods you log to predict your next period and your fertile window. It is not medical advice and not a method of contraception.
Is my cycle data private?
Your cycle stays on your phone. Nothing is uploaded unless you turn on sapplify Sync yourself. Sync is free and off until you switch it on. It is encrypted in transit and at rest on EU servers, but not end to end. You can export everything or delete it all at any time. The app sends anonymous usage analytics, never what you log, and you can switch them off in the app.
Do I need an account?
No. sCycle works without one. You only sign in if you want your log on a second device with Sync.
Does sCycle work offline?
Yes. Check-ins, the calendar, predictions and your companion all work without a connection. Only signing in, Sync and buying Pro need the internet.
Can I export my data?
Yes, as a CSV file, with no account and no paywall. You can also delete everything from inside the app at any time.
What is sapplify Sync?
Optional sync to a second device, free with a free sapplify account. It is off until you turn it on. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest on EU servers. It is not end to end encrypted.
What does sCycle Pro add?
Every companion. Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks them all, so you can switch between Mo and Juno whenever you like. Tracking stays free without it, and there is no recurring charge.
