If you connect a sapplify Account
If you connect a sapplify Account to sLists, the sapplify Account Privacy Policy and sapplify Account Terms of Service additionally apply to your use of account-related features (sign-in, profile, cross-device sync).
1. Introduction
Welcome to the Privacy Policy for sLists app ("we", "us", or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle data in our mobile application.
sLists is a simple and powerful list app designed to help you organize your tasks and lists without unnecessary complexity. Our goal is to provide a distraction-free experience that respects your privacy.

2. Data Collection
By default, the lists and items you create stay on your device. They leave it only if you sign in to a sapplify Account and turn on sapplify Sync.
sLists does not sell your list content or share it with third parties. The only thing sLists reports on its own is the anonymous usage analytics described below, which you can switch off in the app.
Local Data Storage
All data you enter into sLists (such as your lists and items) is stored on your device. Unless you turn on sapplify Sync, we have no access to it and it does not leave your device.
We use the following local storage technologies:

sapplify Sync (only if you turn it on)
Sync is off by default, including after you sign in. If you sign in to a sapplify Account and turn Sync on for sLists, your lists and items are copied to our servers in the EU (Ireland) so they appear on your other devices. They are encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest on the server; they are not end-to-end encrypted. Sync is free. What is stored, for how long, and your rights over it are set out in the sapplify Account Privacy Policy.
Feedback you choose to send
If you send feedback from the app, we receive your message and its category, the app version, your device model and operating system version, your language setting, and your email address only if you enter one. It is processed on our own server in Ireland (EU) over an encrypted connection.
Usage analytics
sLists reports how it is used to our own servers in Ireland: the app and its version, the platform, a randomly generated device identifier, a session identifier, and the name of each event with its values. While you are signed in, your account identifier is attached. We use no third-party analytics SDK and nothing goes to an advertising network. After 30 days these rows leave the live database for a statistical archive with the account identifier stripped out.
You can switch this off at any time: Settings > Legal & Privacy > Anonymous analytics.
What We DO NOT Do

- We DO NOT build a behavioural profile of you
- We DO NOT sell or share data with third parties
- We DO NOT display advertisements
- We DO NOT use third-party analytics SDKs or advertising trackers
3. Third-Party Services
Our app may contain links to or integration with third-party services. These third parties have their own privacy policies for which we are not responsible. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of all third-party websites or services that you visit or use.
App Distribution Platforms
The app is offered through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and Huawei AppGallery. When installing or purchasing the app through these platforms, these services may collect certain data. This data collection is subject to the respective privacy policies of the platforms:
4. App Permissions
Our app may occasionally request permissions on your device to enable certain features. All requested permissions are used only for their intended functions and not for collecting data. Permissions that might be requested include:
- Storage: For local storage of your lists and settings
- Share: If you want to use the list sharing functionality
- Notifications: To remind you of deadlines and at the reminder time you set, only if you turn reminders on
- Internet: For usage analytics, feedback you send, and sapplify Account sign-in and Sync if you use them
You can manage these permissions at any time in your device settings.
5. Data Security
Your lists are stored on your device, where they are protected by your operating system's security features, so their security largely depends on the security of your device. If you turn on sapplify Sync, the copy on our servers is protected as described in the sapplify Account Privacy Policy.
We recommend that you:
- Protect your device with a PIN, password, pattern, or biometric security features
- Regularly update your operating system and apps
- Perform regular backups of your app data (if you consider the data important)
6. Children's Privacy
Our services do not specifically address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will promptly delete this information.
7. International Users
sLists is available to users worldwide and supports multiple languages. The lists and items you enter stay on your device unless you turn on sapplify Sync, in which case they are stored in the EU (Ireland). The anonymous usage analytics and any feedback you send, described in Section 2, are also held on our own servers in Ireland.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the app. Changes become effective when they are posted in the app.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Continued use of our app after the posting of changes to this Privacy Policy will constitute your acknowledgment and acceptance of such changes.
