Summary: When you support sFamily, you're funding the development of an app that doesn't exist yet. This is a crowdfunding contribution to help build the app, not a purchase of an existing product. While we're committed to building sFamily, we cannot guarantee completion or specific timelines.

⚠️ Important: By supporting sFamily development, you acknowledge that this is a development support contribution, not a purchase. In the event that development cannot be completed for any reason, contributions are non-refundable.

1. Nature of Your Contribution

When you support sFamily, you are:

  • Making a crowdfunding contribution to support app development
  • NOT purchasing a finished product or guaranteed service
  • Supporting a solo developer's effort to build a family organization app
  • Accepting the inherent risks of supporting early-stage development

2. What We Promise

As a supporter, we commit to providing:

  • Transparency: Regular updates on development progress (weekly for eligible tiers)
  • Communication: Honest updates about challenges, changes, or delays
  • Best Effort: Our genuine commitment to building sFamily
  • Tier Rewards: The specific benefits listed for your support tier, contingent on successful development

3. Development Risks

You understand and accept that:

  • Software development involves uncertainty and potential delays
  • The final product may differ from initial descriptions
  • Development timelines are estimates, not guarantees
  • Personal circumstances, technical challenges, or other factors could impact or halt development

4. Refund Policy

Standard Policy: All contributions are final and non-refundable after 30 days.

30-Day Grace Period:

  • You may request a full refund within 30 days of your contribution
  • Refund requests should be sent to: contact@sapplify.com
  • Refunds will be processed through the original payment method

After 30 Days:

  • Contributions are non-refundable
  • This applies even if development is delayed, changed, or discontinued
  • You are supporting development efforts already undertaken

If Development Stops:

  • We will notify all supporters immediately with a detailed explanation
  • We will provide final access to any work completed
  • No refunds will be provided as funds will have been used for development

5. Supporter Rewards

Rewards for each tier are contingent on successful development:

  • Newsletter updates: Will be sent as long as development continues
  • Beta access: Provided if and when a beta version is available
  • Discounts: Apply only if the app launches commercially
  • Premium features: Available only if these features are developed

6. Intellectual Property

Supporting sFamily development does not grant you:

  • Ownership rights in the app or its code
  • Decision-making authority over development
  • Rights to the sFamily brand or assets

7. Communication

By supporting sFamily, you agree to:

  • Receive email updates about development (frequency based on tier)
  • Allow reasonable response time for support inquiries (typically 48-72 hours)
  • Direct all formal communications to: contact@sapplify.com

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Our liability is limited to the amount of your contribution
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • We make no warranties about completion timelines or feature sets

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes will be:

  • First addressed through good-faith email communication
  • Subject to the laws of Slovakia
  • Resolved through arbitration if initial communication fails

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms:

  • Significant changes will be communicated to all supporters
  • Continued support after changes implies acceptance
  • Previous supporters are bound by the terms at their time of contribution
